ONEX Logistics has launched successfully after a long period of operating. Besides the congratulations of Customers and Partners, ONEX Logistics is honored to receive the congratulation letter from Dr. Nguyen Van Cuong, Government Office Vice General Director, South Office Government. ONEX Logistics would like to quote the letter of Dr. Nguyen Van Cuong as below:
“Ladies and Gentlemen,
Vietnam is the developing economy with the top growth rate in Asia. The Vietnam Government is continuously endeavoring to reform the administration and build the most favourable conditions for enterprises expanding their own businesses. The Government is constantly improving infrastructure of airports, roads and seaports. Vietnam is considered as a high growth country with high infrastructure investment in Asia.
In the Northern, Noi Bai Airport has upgraded its domestic terminal and built an international terminal with funding from the Japan Government. Previously, Cai Lan seaport system was built and upgraded to create favorable conditions for enterprises to produce, distribute and import goods. Japanese and Japanese investors have funded the construction of a deepwater port and a large-scale transhipment port of Lach Huyen port. Lach Huyen deepwater transshipment port is nearing completion. In the South, Cai Mep Thi Vai Terminal has been invested in a modern scale.
If we compare to the current status about the new investment, it can be seen that Vietnam seaports are more modern than regional ports because of being exploited for many years. Vietnam is building and perfecting the infrastructure.
However, the synchronous structure of transport infrastructure and logictics services is still inadequate. The development of railways linking seaports and road systems has not yet good enough causing the high logistic cost comparing to other countries by regions. Freight costs from Hainoi to Haiphong is higher than the cost of transportation from Haiphong to Singapore, to China. on November 30, 2017, Minister Chairman of the Government Office, Mai Tien Dung, work with Ministry of Transport about 05 points of the Prime Minister on Logistics. The second point amongst 05 points mentioned is the high logistics costs in Vietnam. Then, Ministry of Transport urgently prepare the content for the Prime Minister to lead a conference toward cutting procedures and expenses in logistics area.
The Government is listening to the opinions of domestic and international experts, investors and entrepreneurs to build up solutions regarding to the reasonable logistics cost in Vietnam.
Government efforts to invest, upgrade; on the other hand, enterprises need to make an efforts to reduce costs. More specifically, application of information technology, software, training human resources to limit logistics costs. In additional, we need to consider clean fuels usage to protect the environment because the logistics industry is generally consuming a lot of fossil fuels causing the climate change.
Today, I am very honored and happy to attend the ONEX Logistics opening ceremony, the new generation logistics company. ONEX Logistics is a dynamic, young and enthusiatic company applying technology to reduce costs for partners, customers, handling of gutters for the fastest services to customers.
